Federal Register / Vol. 66, No. 161 / Monday, August 20, 2001 / Notices, Council on Environmental Quality, Energy Task Force, and Vol. 66, No. 192 / Wednesday, October 3, 2001 / Notices, Council on Environmental Quality, Energy Task Force, solicited interested parties to: (1) provide basic information about major pending projects or major projects under development that may be relevant to Task Force efforts to streamline energy permitting decisions and (2) comment on the proposed nature and scope of Task Force activities and provide specific suggestions and examples of permitting or other decision making processes which should be improved or streamlined. The Task Force received over 120 written comments. The comments consisted of approximately half general process and half project-specific comments. The projects and comments were evaluated, cataloged by functional area, and assigned to a Task Force member as lead for analysis and/or action. Use the links at the left to navigate between the comments. The time period of the Federal Register notice has elapsed. However, all interested parties are invited to continue to provide information or comment relevant to the Task Force effort. To submit comments, issues, concerns or to schedule meetings, complete the appropriate downloadable form(s) below. Submissions to the Task Force are divided into the following areas described below: If your organization submitted comments to the Task Force and your organization's name is not listed in this website, please click here to fill out the downloadable project submission request form, and submit it as an attachment to whtf.projects@hq.doe.gov. Please give the date of initial submission and any other pertinent information on the project. Written
suggestions for newly proposed or upcoming energy-related projects or
issues that may benefit from facilitation of the decision making process
by the Task Force, may be submitted by using the downloadable form. Click
