- Fulfill
the goals of Presidential Executive Order #13212 by expediting energy-related
projects to provide for the increased production and transmission of
energy in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
- Ensure
that federal agencies responsible for review and permitting of energy-related
projects are coordinating their efforts to integrate decision-making
and maximize staff time and resources in accordance with environmental
laws.
- Ensure
that federal agencies establish appropriate mechanisms to coordinate
federal, state, tribal and local permitting activity in particular regions
where increased activity is expected
- Ensure
that expedited and coordinated decision-making occur in an outcome neutral
fashion.
- To operate
openly and inclusively with all parties expressing interest in the work
of the Task Force.
- To identify,
recognize and seek to replicate effectively integrated interagency decision-making
processes already in existence.
